Ambrose Baros

LCSW, LADAC

Ambrose Baros is a behavioral health leader, clinician, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience serving New Mexico communities. A lifelong Northern New Mexico resident, he brings regional knowledge and a commitment to culturally informed care.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University and a Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. His experience includes youth and family services, juvenile justice, residential and outpatient treatment, substance use treatment, and statewide recovery initiatives.

Previously executive director of Hoy Recovery Program, Ambrose has worked in program development, accreditation readiness, clinical supervision, organizational leadership, and policy development. He now supports clients and organizations as a therapist and consultant.
