Behavioral Health Resources for Santa Fe Families

Adapted from the TribaLights guide by Sequoia Germano.

Start with connection

Finding mental health or substance use care can feel overwhelming. You do not need to know exactly which service you need before reaching out.

Community resources

Call 211

Ask about local resources for housing, food, transportation, and healthcare.

Crisis support

Call 988

Call or text 988 for crisis support. For immediate physical danger or a medical emergency, call 911.

Finding the right care

Options may include individual or family therapy, intensive outpatient care, community support, peer support, psychiatric services, and substance use treatment. Your needs, safety, goals, and circumstances help determine the next step.

For children and young people, start with a pediatrician, school support team, Medicaid plan, or local behavioral health provider.

Your Medicaid plan can help you locate participating providers and understand coverage. TribaLights offers IOP and CCSS services; contact intake to discuss fit and availability.
